Durex’s new Intimate Protect range aims to empower women to have sex on their own terms, without letting discomfort get in their way. The focus of the 'Frida' campaign is to challenge traditional conventions and preconceptions around sex by representing real people and real relationships, in all their natural, everyday beauty.
We found a fresh sounding, soulful, electronic, R&B track by Jarreau Vandal ‘Ginger Tea’ to soundtrack the film.The sparse and light vocals help connect with the intimacy and tenderness of the stories, whilst the synth helps bring out the fun aspect. To carry the film we felt the track's infectious rhythm helps drive the energy whilst empowering the narrative.
